The Virginia Muscle Car

One of my vacations this year(December 2017) was to Las Vegas and I visited
Shelby American. While in Las Vegas, I also visited Nostalgia Street Rods.
The Shelby American tour was an excellent. The tour had about 30 people
and was 3 days before Xmas. Highly recommend for Ford lovers and other
interested parties. The bare aluminum roadster has SOHC 427 Cobra Jet
engine; the engine itself costs in the neighborhood of 50K$!!!

I bought a book entitled: Inside Shelby American: Wrenching and Racing
with Carroll Shelby in the 1960s , at their gift shop.- highly recommend.
The author, John Morton, is 1 yr older than I with some very similar car
experiences as a teenager. He was recently a guest on Jay Leno's Garage.

The Shelby tour prompted me to buy, as a collector item, a Peter Brock
autographed 1:43 Daytona Coupe model from Brock Racing Enterprises.
