Photos show what was done to connect LeMans gas cap to fuel tank.
(Summit: RCI 17 gal. Aluminum fuel cell 2272AL)
1) Filler hose and gas cap end, and modified LeMans cap. Filler
hose assembly is for 96 Ford Ranger ($40. from
PartsGeek.com) and had inner 1” hose and outer 2” hose for
venting; inner hose was not used because fuel tank
has a separate vent line and metal neck was shortened.
2) Gates hose, 90 degree 1.75” ID, #24716
3) Metal reducer (from Summit) to connect the hoses is 2”OD to
1.75” ID (fits with effort) ~George
