On February 24, 2014 I took a few hours to go over to the Park in Lynchburg were they have a C&O Kanawha. It's in rough shape and they are trying to gather money (by donations) to both save the engine and also refurbish it. They are looking to find about 600K from donation to do the work and have a very long ways to go to collect that much money. Attached are a few pictures. They have the engine fenced off and in today’s world I fully understand the need for such actions. ~Bill
