These pictures were taken in the 1980's outside of Bristol Tennessee. This engine was on loan from a mid-western railroad museum to the excursion line Bristol & Northwestern Railroad. Possibly some kind of maintenance was being performed at the time because the boiler and firebox outer coverings are off.
